Deathmatch in Lost City.
Walkthrough by D&G Productions
Choose a Route (there are two routes you can take through the first part of the level, so in both parts some doors will remain closed).
Go to the garden left (W) and jump over the fence, shoot the snake and get the Choose a Route Key. Better go to the other garden E where the flames are and shoot a crow now (in stead of later when you may carry the torch), then go into the street N and shoot the bug. There are 2 doors here, one W and one E. Now make a choice which route you want to take and save so you can play the other route too later on.
The East Route, Torch route. (Scroll down for the other side)
Open the door with the key, go in and right, pull the crate once and jump over it to pick up a Torch. Go outside and S and to the fire left, a nasty bug shows up so better drop the Torch where you can find it again. Then go ignite the Torch and go back into the room E. Go left to the wooden pile and ignite it (Face E). The door at the other end of this room is open (you can leave the Torch here).
The Red Key (Fuse).
Go up the stairs and all the way to the end (S) and get the Flares. Then go S, jump on the planks and jump of, turn and climb down the ladder. Around the corner (W) is a trapdoor, open it. Go to the NW corner and grab up into the windowsill. Turn SE, run onto the planks and hop to the next and take a running jump to the pillar SE. Get the Red Key (Fuse) and safety drop to the floor and run to the trapdoor so you can kill the wraith and pick up some Flares (in case you broke all the planks, you can still grab up into the windowsill NE and jump to the pillar with the Fuse).
The Mysterious Book.
Get to the ladder and leave this place and go back out to the main street. Go to the N and left (W) and shoot a ninja girl and a crow, (The other side has nothing except a dog) jump over the NW fence for a Small Medipack NE and some Shotgun ammo SW. Go through the small alley N and shoot out the window left so you can climb in. Pick up the Mysterious Book and shoot the insect. On the pedestal is a Medipack. Go to the SW corner behind the crates and use the switch there. Jump back over the crate and get Secret #1, the Shotgun where the block lowered.
The Mysterious Key.
The door opens on approach so leave and go to the left (N). Shoot another ninja girl and make your way to the far N, notice the two doors and then go to the right and slide down. Some dogs roam around and after killing them go to the SE and find the Mysterious Key on the floor near the wall. Combine this Key with the Book to get the Necronomicon Book.
The Sun Disk.
Leave and go S there is a door you can use the Red Key (fuse) on. Kill the snake and climb up the stairs. Halfway through is a crawlspace S, get in and down at the end. Run down the slope and jump up over the spikes that pop up. Grab the Sun Disk from the pedestal and go back over the spikes, through the crawlspace and head further up the stairs.
Destiny Key #1.
Once up go left (W) and around the corner jump to the jump lever on the wall. Go down the stairs and outside and then go to the right (E), the door you opened is a bit further and on the left.
Push/pull the crate SE to the corner SW on that different looking tile. The doors E opens and a ninja girl will attack. Go there, pick up Destiny Key #1 and leave as the exit door opened up again.
Use the Necronomicon Book, Destiny Key #2.
Go out and right to the ramp and follow through to the top. Stand against the NE pink window, shoot it (face SW) and place the Necronomicon book on the stand inside. Go down again and to the now open door W. Shoot a dog and a crow and go left to the glass door SW and place the Sun Disk to the right of the glass door.
Shoot the ninja girl and pick up some Shotgun ammo. Go to the SE corner and use the Timed lever, roll jump on the first and then the second pillar and take a running jump to the rope and swing to the other side. Push the crate to the E wall and jump from the crate to the ledge with Destiny Key #2. Leave this place altogether (E) and then take a left (N) and use both Keys on the door on the right.
The West Route, Crowbar route.
Go in and around the corner there are 3 pushable crates, your goal is to get under the one in the SE corner where you will find the Fuse.
Take the Fuse back into the passage and use it there. Go in and up the steps and pull the table away for some Flares. Near the lamp is a Small Medipack. Go N and down the ladder, go SE and use the Valve there. Now run to the other corner and jump in the water. Swim through as high as possible to avoid the knives, in an alcove S is Shotgun ammo, and a bit further also S is the Gear. Swim out and hoist up, climb the ladder and down the steps and out to the main street. Go N and shoot a ninja girl and a crow and jump over the fence NW for a Small Medipack NE and Shotgun ammo SW.
The Mysterious Book.
Go through the small alley N and shoot out the window left so you can climb in. Pick up the Mysterious Book and shoot the insect. On the pedestal is a Medipack. Destiny Key #2.
Back down the ground floor and S to place the Gear on the door there. Go in and left around the corner is Shotgun ammo, in the back is a crate, push/pull it onto the different tile in the corner. Turn around and enter the new room, in the far away corner NW is a trapdoor. Open it and jump in. Slide down and follow through, go left (N), go to the other end and find a ladder where you can climb down. Then face E and side flip, shimmy along the ledge and hoist up. Run to the pillar and safety drop grabbing the ledge and shimmy left passing it. Get up, jump to the next ledge and get to the ladder and climb down.
Use the Valve on the central structure, get a camera shot, so you have to climb all the way back to the top (ladder SW, around to ladder SE). Go N and jump the block and from there onto the expanded block so you can jump to that central structure. Pick up Destiny Key #2 and then push the button.
Jump in the water below, turn and use the underwater lever on the central structure. An underwater door N wall opens up. First get air and save, swim in and left, pick up the Crowbar there, roll, swim E and up, left around and you should see an underwater lever there. Swim W and around the corner and up and then go back E a bit, a trapdoor W opened up. A Small Medipack is in the NE corner of the tunnel below if you want it. Stand on the raised tile and face S and open the trapdoor. A ninja girl is waiting and she’ll leave a Medipack.
Destiny Key #1.
For now go all the way W through the door opened by placing the Book and shoot a crow and a dog. Go NW and open the door with the crowbar, avoid the thumper and open the door W. Shoot the bee and get the Shotgun ammo. Then flip the most right and left lever (colour of the pipes S?); those will open the door behind you. Pick up Destiny Key #1, from the floor near the second door and leave. Kill the snake and go E and out the gate E and again left to the left door in the end and use the Keys there.
Here is where the 2 routes are joined together.
Kill the two Raptors inside. Inside the greenhouse is a Small Medipack.
Go N and jump through the broken door into the water and swim right to the corner SE. Go down, through the tube and to the S wall in the middle. In the ceiling near that door is a lever; that will open the door.
The Additional Crowbar.
The current takes you away, so hoist up at the end. If you played the Torch route, you should pick up the Crowbar here, S of the water hole. In the left and right hand corners near the fire emitters are crawlspaces, both lead to the same room. Get in and down at the end.
2 Routes, for the Lonely Heart and the Lonely Cage.
All the way in the end (W) is a crowbar door, open it and enter. Push the crate S once to the E, climb up and look up N to see a crawlspace, get up there and even higher and use the switch; the door N opens. Crawl back down from the pillar again.
S: The Lonely Heart.
First we go down to the S slope. Almost at the end of the slope; jump forward against the opposite wall (corner) to avoid the boulder (or run into the right or left corner against the wall). Then hoist up and continue S. At the higher point of the passage where you see the knives, grab up to the monkey climb and go over the knives. Time the emitter and go left around the corner. Go to the end and hang in the right hand corner, turn left and spot the next slope where you have to go, drop and slide/jump/ jump again from the next slope and grab the breakable ledges. Shimmy to the left and pull up so the right hand tile stays intact. Turn left and jump into the opening. Crawl through and get Secret #2, a Medipack. Go back and jump to that spare break tile, to the next and curve left, jump onto the slope and slide/jump to grab the ladder.
Shimmy around left (watch the emitter) and back flip to a ledge. Then stand jump to the NW onto another breakable tile and a running jump to a save one W (right of that emitter). Grab the crack in the wall, shimmy right (watch the emitter) and up the ladder. There is an opening there get in and crawl through and slide down in a small room. On a ledge NE are some Flares, on the other side is a jump lever. Go in the door SW and get the Lonely Heart form the pedestal around the corner. Go through the door N to end up where you started.
N: The Lonely Cage.
Go back to the crowbar door W and now take the N slope. Jump over the knife and avoid the thumpers. Take a left or right, it doesn’t matter, avoid the chains and crawl in the crawlspace to the right there. Use the valve to flood the pool a bit further and crawl back out.
Jump in the water and use the underwater lever. Get out the water and use the valve SW to drain the pool again. Back to the now empty pool and use the rope to get across into the alcove, flip the lever N and climb down the ladder. Now go to the door in the pool. Watch out for a boulder though in that passage, and another one around the corner. If you didn’t trigger the second boulder, jump into the hole left and get Secret #3, Shotgun ammo. Back out and now trigger the second boulder.
Follow through up the slopes and through a crawlspace and come into a room with crates. Open the door E and pull away the table in the corner. Get the Lonely Cage and combine it with the Heart to get the Last Hope. Hop on the higher floor and use the lever SE (hint: floor a bit darker). Go through the door and kill two ninja girls. Go SW and find yourself back in the aquarium. Go back to the crowbar door W and place the Last hope on the wall next to the door W.
The dragon can only be killed from the front. There are more ways to get through this part.
1: Take out your shotgun and kill the Dragon from standing near the entrance (if you have enough ammo left).
2: Shoot with pistols while jumping left right and save reload every time the locust appear.
3: Intended route.
You probably won’t have enough Medipacks to withstand all the locust, so the only way would be to save and reload every time the locust appear. Go to the right and spot a jump lever around the corner. This opens the door N, roll and run NW to the corner of the lava lake, jump and grab the crack and shimmy left, pull up on the ledge at the door.
Push the only pushable block and get a Small Medipack and 2x Revolver ammo. Go onto the crate in the far away corner NW and use the switch there to open the door again. Kill the ninja to get some more Revolver ammo. Go back out, jump to the entrance ledge left and go to the other side, in the SE corner is a Small Medipack. Jump to and shimmy along the crack to the open door S. Go to the back of the room and use the chain, kill the ninja and pick up the Revolver. Between the gears is also a Medipack.
Go out and jump back to the right, to the entrance ledge, shoot the dragon from there and (after a short while) the lava will turn safe. Hop into the water and swim to the W into a crawlspace, go left or right all the way in the back and use the underwater lever. An earthquake occurs, swim out to the SW corner and climb out. The door behind the dragon (W) is open. Get in and avoid some boulders. At the top use the glider and the level ends.
